OvenKing is opening its bespoke workshop, created in 2020, just for training Oven Cleaners!
The new facility is located in sunny Bournemouth at our Headquarters, a short walk from Bournemouth train station.
Thanks to its custom-made design, our training facility has everything you’ll need to start your own Oven Cleaning business. As it’s onsite at OvenKing HQ you can be assured that you’ll have specialist, hands-on training from beginning to end.
Founder and Owner Daryl built the King Group from the ground up, so knows what makes a top-level business. Daryl created the training programmes specifically to ensure that the trainees get everything they need from only one course- and then they are good to go! We have a number of courses to choose from, full details of which can be found here.
However, our 4 Day Start Up Extra package is our most popular, and cost-effective course. This includes everything you need to run your business- you could leave our offices and clean an oven on your way home!

Before You Arrive
Before you even arrive for your training, our friendly team will be in touch to discuss your design needs. They’ll begin building you a bespoke website, logo, business cards and flyers, and working on your van design. Our responsive I.T workers are more than happy to have a dialogue with you- making changes and amendments as you see fit. It’s important to us that you get the website and marketing materials that you want.

Arrival at OvenKing Headquarters
When you arrive at OvenKing HQ you’ll find a brand new building, well-located, with ample parking. You’ll receive a friendly welcome from our team. Daryl, the founder of OvenKing, will lead a meet and greet with the members of the training programme and staff in our relaxing new welcome area. We want to get to know you- why did you decide to get into Oven cleaning? What do you hope to achieve? What’s your desired income? The more we know about you, the more we can help you make it happen!

For the next part of your Start Up Extra Course, you’ll be taken into our presentation room for the all important Health and Safety presentation. Health and Safety is paramount here at OvenKing and we want to make sure that you feel totally reassured and safe before beginning your training.
After this, you’ll be taken into our custom-made workshop for training. The room contains up to 20 different makes of ovens at any given time. Here you’ll be able to practise on many different makes and models of oven, including range and agas, before you even enter a customer’s house. You’ll have plenty of time to get familiar with all the different types of oven, how to remove the removable parts, and what techniques work best for which ovens. We’ll also make sure you’re familiar with BBQs and microwaves- just in case! Our technicians will be with you the whole time, teaching and advising. You’ll spend two days learning everything there is to know. We’ll spend some time introducing you to the correct chemicals, and equipment. When you’re done in our workshop, you’ll feel confident cleaning any oven, no matter what the model!

The next part of our course focuses on real world, hands-on training. You’ll go out on jobs with our experienced and friendly technicians. You’ll shadow them and learn from them, and as your confidence grows, you’ll take the lead on cleans. Your technician will always be there to make sure you, and the customer, feel comfortable and safe. Whilst you’re learning and practising, our team will get to kitting out your van with dip tank and everything else it needs. we can even provide the livery and your logo and contact details- so the second you drive away you’re already promoting your business!

So now you’ve learnt what you need to know about oven cleaning- but OvenKing’s courses give you so much more! After returning from your final clean, Daryl will provide a presentation, offering advice on marketing, sales, profit turnaround and so much more! Our technicians will give you a rating and certificate, which you can proudly display in your own business. Before you leave us, we will provide you with all the tools and chemicals that you need to start your business. You are now certified, qualified and ready to start.

After you have completed your course, OvenKing then offer optional management fees. Here you can get ongoing advice and support from the OvenKing team, after you return home to start your business. There’s no contract- simply pay per month for what you feel you need. Once you’re totally confident and comfortable with your business- off you go!
