Oven Cleaning Training Terms and Conditions

Welcome to The King Academy. Please read our oven cleaning training terms and conditions carefully before booking your course. These guidelines ensure a clear, professional, and smooth process for all our trainees.

Training Fees

All deposits and balance payments for our training courses are final. Consequently, these fees are strictly non-refundable.

Training Dates and Cancellations

Once we approve your training commencement date and you agree to it, you must arrive on that scheduled date. Furthermore, you must follow the arrival instructions sent to you via email.

If you need to change your training date for any reason, you must provide a minimum of 5 working days’ notice. If you meet this requirement, we will rearrange your training date completely free of charge.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows

However, you will incur additional charges in the following situations:

• You do not provide any cancellation notice.

• You provide notice less than 5 days before the training start date.

• You arrive for the first day but fail to attend any remaining days of your course.

In these cases, we will charge you for the remaining missed days based on our “Training Only” price list below.

Cancellation Examples

To help clarify our oven cleaning training terms, here are three specific cancellation scenarios:

Example 1

A Trainee has booked a 4 Days Premium Extra Course. They have been given a commencement date and have agreed to it. They call or email us the day before the agreed commencement date and ask to postpone their training for 2 weeks. In this case, since their booking is for 4 days and we did not receive a notice more than 5 working days before the agreed commencement date, they will need to pay an additional £800 + VAT, which is the equivalent of a 4 Day Training-Only course, if they want to reschedule. They can collect all their equipment, tools, chemicals and marketing material any time they want.

Example 2

A Trainee has booked a 5 Days Trailer Course. They have been given a commencement date and have agreed to it. They call or email us 3 working days before the agreed commencement date and ask to postpone their training indefinitely until their circumstances allow them to attend. Since their booking is for 5 days and we did not receive a notice more than 5 working days before the agreed commencement date, they will need to pay an additional £975 + VAT,  which is the equivalent of a 5 Day Training-Only course, if they want to reschedule. They can collect all their equipment, tools, chemicals and marketing material any time they want after the agreed commencement date.

Example 3

A Trainee has booked a 5 Days Premium Course. They have been given a commencement date and have agreed to it. They call or email us 10 working days before the agree commencement date and ask to move their training at a later date. Since we received an advance notice more than 5 working days from the commencement date, the Trainee can reschedule their training free of charge. They can still collect all their equipment, tools, chemicals and marketing material any time they want after the agreed commencement date.

Logo, Business Cards, Flyers and Van/Trailer livery design and Website design and production

In all our “Extra” courses, the design of a Logo, Business Cards, Flyers and Van or Trailer Livery is included, as well as the building of a website. The process, its limitations and the responsibilities of the Trainee and The King Academy are described below.

Logo, Business Cards, Flyers and Van / Trailer Livery

During the design stage, a member of our design team will be liaising with the Trainee to discuss their design and colour preferences and offer advice on best practices. We aim to produce a result that will make the Trainee happy to use but we regretfully cannot offer unlimited revisions or changes. We will therefore provide the Trainee with:

• a minimum of 3 draft Logos to choose from as a starting point
• up to 3 design changes on the chosen draft Logo after that
• one draft for Business cards, Flyers and Van / Trailer Livery
• up to 3 design changes on each of the above after that

Once the Trainee has approved the Artwork produced, no further changes can be made. This is due to us sending the Artwork to a printing company that, once received, cannot be changed. In the event that the Trainee decides to make changes after they have approved the Artwork, they will incur further costs, which will depend on what is required, as well as redesign/reprint fees.

Your Business Website Setup

The King Academy will build a standard 6-page website for your new business. This includes:

• Home Page

• Professional Oven Cleaning (explaining your specific process)

• Our Customers (displaying reviews and a review form)

• Our Prices (listing your service costs)

• Contact Us (featuring contact details and a form)

• Terms and Conditions

Additionally, we will include a standard Privacy Policy. If you want to advertise extra services (such as window or carpet cleaning), we can provide a separate quote. You must prepay these additional costs before we begin the extra work.

All website pages will match your approved logo and desired brand image. During the build, our design team will finalize your service areas, pricing list, and contact details with you.

SEO and Online Visibility

We include basic Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in your website setup. Although we follow modern SEO practices, we cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings. During your final IT Handover, we will train you on ways to increase your online visibility. If you require guaranteed SEO results, we highly recommend hiring a specialized marketing agency.

Website Ownership and Maintenance

You exclusively own your domain name and web hosting. After your IT Handover is complete and all balances are settled, we pass full ownership and access credentials directly to you. The King Academy retains no copyrights over your site.

Following the handover, the website becomes your sole responsibility. This includes maintenance, backups, updates, and renewal fees. Your domain registrar and hosting provider will contact you directly regarding future renewals. Since technical faults can occur, we strongly advise you to monitor your expiry dates closely to prevent downtime. If you require future website updates or maintenance from us, we can provide those services for an additional quote.

Damages caused during training

Whilst training, if a trainee causes any damage to the clients’ property or oven, they will be liable for it.

Success Guarantees

Finally, we cannot guarantee your financial success in the oven cleaning industry. Ultimately, oven cleaning is a business venture. While many of our trainees succeed through hard work and dedication, your personal success depends entirely on your own effort, time, and commitment.
